Reviews

Excerpts from 5 star Amazon reviews:

Immensely helpful By Laura Crawshaw, Ph.D.
This book is an invaluable resource to anyone who wishes to understand and/or advance current approaches to workplace bullying and related threats to employee well-being. Prior to Cobb's work, researchers and activists were hard-pressed to develop any kind of comprehensive overview of health and safety issues related to bullying, violence, harassment, discrimination and stress around the world, and as a result, we were relegated to working without a deeper understanding of international progress (and challenges) thus far.... landmark work.

In this comprehensive and timely resource, Ellen Cobb has made a significant contribution to the field of worker health and safety. Still vastly under-reported and misunderstood, workplace bullying, violence, harassment, discrimination and stress continue to wreak havoc on the vitality and prosperity of organizations and individuals alike.

Work of enormous magnitude and importance By Dr. Pat Ferris
...very comprehensive and important review of laws and legislation around the world. What a massive amount of research must have gone into writing this book. It will be immensely helpful to me in my role as a researcher, trainer, and therapist in the areas of workplace bullying and harassment.

Essential reference-work for compliance professionals
This book should be at the hand of every professional with an interest, even peripherally, in the convoluted world of compliance-related issues. The Author has gone to great lengths to provide current information on the legislative issues that an employer must be aware of, whether operating nationally, regionally or indeed globally. Comprehensive references are provided where appropriate, enabling further research.
